Since the acquisition by Worldline in 2020, Ingenico, a Worldline brand, has reinforced its leading position in the digital transformation of business by converging the world of payments with value-added services delivered through the POS terminal. This strategy has expanded the range of opportunities for electronic payment systems, allowing consumers to benefit from a fast, simple, and secure purchasing experience.
The Ingenico offer enables merchants to manage transactions through all payment methods (cards, loyalty, wallets, and alternative payment methods) in any type of retail environment, large or small. Our wide range of payment terminal solutions can be installed in shops, integrated into cash systems, provide mobile solutions for hospitality, and cater for unattended requirements including kiosks, vending and ticket machines.
The recent launch of the AXIUM platform unlocks the full potential of the open and versatile Android POS, providing secure access to a suite of payment and business services. This innovative approach enriches customer interaction, going beyond simple payment and offering a complete shopping experience that includes loyalty, electronic invoicing, the payment of services and integration with eCommerce
In addition to the supply of terminals, Ingenico provides consultancy and Professional Services on payment systems and solutions, guiding its customers through the planning and delivery of new innovations. This offer is completed with a range of services that cover the entire life cycle of the terminal, from installation, software update, repair, and maintenance through to disposal.
Our Customisation and Development facility forms a major part of Ingenico’s operations in northern Europe. We are responsible for the purchase, customisation and distribution of products and services. Last year alone, we customised over half a million terminals for our customers.
The Customer Contact Centre is central to our relationship with our customers, acting as the first point of contact and managing their support journey. We handle almost a million interactions with our customers during the year via inbound and outbound telephone calls. Most of these are dealt with by the Helpdesk talking to merchants who need some assistance with their Ingenico product or service.
And finally, our Warranty and Service Centre repairs and refurbishes terminals in northern Europe as well as devices returned from France and Iberia. The facility consists of a repair shop floor, warehouse, secure room, and support offices and handles more than four hundred thousand terminals a year.
